Kyiv drone strike damages critical infrastructure, disrupts water supply

gazeta.ru (Russian) —

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported damage to a critical infrastructure facility in the Ukrainian capital following a drone strike, causing water supply disruptions in the city. Three drones hit the facility, prompting restoration work by energy workers. Water was restored to the Obolon district, while Svyatoshyn, Podil, and Shevchenkivskyi districts received water at reduced pressure, with the left bank still without supply. The attack follows Ukraine's resumption of strikes on Russian oil refineries despite US President demands to halt them. Russia claimed its air defenses repelled the attacks, while the Kremlin suggested European support enabled Kyiv's actions.
