A Russian drone strike on a railway station in Dnipro killed and wounded civilians who remained near trains despite evacuation warnings, Ukrzaliznytsia reported. The attack occurred on October 29. Before the strike, an air raid alert was announced and a monitoring team detected an approaching drone. Evacuation announcements were made at the station and on a train to Zaporizhzhia, with staff checking carriages, but many passengers ignored calls to move to shelters, leading to high casualties. The death toll from the strike on the civilian electric train was 14 people, with 14 more injured. The same day, Russia launched a series of attacks on civilian targets in Chernihiv, Kremenchuk, and Zaporizhzhia, killing and wounding dozens of civilians, including children.
