ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Ukrainian Navy forces struck the Marynivka airfield in Russia's Volgograd region with long-range Neptune missiles, destroying two Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers, the Navy reported on Thursday, October 29. The strike targeted the 11th mixed aviation regiment's location, part of Russia's 4th Air Force and Air Defense Army. Two Russian servicemen were killed and two wounded in the attack, according to earlier social media reports. The Su-34 is a key Russian platform for launching guided aerial bombs against Ukrainian cities and defense positions. On October 15, similar Neptune missiles destroyed four Su-34M aircraft and damaged two more at the Borisoglebsk airfield in Russia's Voronezh region.
