ru.euronews.com (Russian) —

Evacuated residents from Russian-occupied Oleshky have arrived in Ukraine as part of a humanitarian ceasefire, with four planes landing in Belarus before crossing the land border into Chernihiv region, President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed. Zelensky thanked the US, First Lady Melania Trump, and Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, who coordinated the mission. Lubinets confirmed its successful completion, with the silence regime in Oleshky continuing until Sunday evening. The evacuation included over 750 people, 25 buses, and 50 medics. The evacuation occurred amid Russian strikes that left about 280,000 Ukrainian households without power, including 200,000 in Dnipro and over 80,000 in Kyiv region, with a thermal power plant and four substations hit.
