Kherson warns of possible Russian ceasefire breach in Oleshky

news.liga.net (Ukrainian) —

Kherson authorities warned that Russia may violate the ceasefire declared for a humanitarian mission in occupied Oleshky, urging residents to remain vigilant on the truce's final day. Head of the regional military administration Yaroslav Shanko said Russian media messages suggest preparations for provocations that could be used to break the silence regime. The truce, active since October 27, is set to end at 22:59 on November 1. Shanko advised residents to avoid crowded places and high-risk zones, heed air raid warnings, and stay in safe areas. A military spokesperson said Russia is using the pause for its own military purposes, while rescued civilians returned from Oleshky on October 31.
