Ukrainian strikes hit Russian refinery as Russian attacks kill four in Ukraine

Russian strikes on multiple Ukrainian regions killed four people overnight, while Ukrainian forces damaged a Russian oil refinery over 1,300 kilometers from the border. Russia's defense ministry said it struck industrial, military, and energy facilities, while claiming its air defenses downed 629 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory. Zelensky is scheduled to meet world leaders including U.S. President Donald Trump in New York. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Trump will discuss a proposed ceasefire with Russia to halt strikes on energy infrastructure.
