Zelensky accuses Russia of killing 29 in strike on aid center in southeastern Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of undermining peace efforts after a strike on a humanitarian aid distribution center in southeastern Ukraine killed 29 people. The attack in Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia region, involved at least nine FAB-3000 guided bombs, with a second strike targeting a shelter where people had fled. Overnight attacks also hit a hospital in Kherson, injuring 46 and forcing the evacuation of 200 patients, plus energy infrastructure in several regions. The incident occurred ahead of planned Russia-Ukraine working negotiations on November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi, mediated by the US, focusing on post-war security and humanitarian efforts. A previous round in Geneva in February ended without results, and Russia rejected extending a local truce in Kherson, with a Ukrainian official warning of worse conditions ahead.
