Russian forces strike critical infrastructure in Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih district
Russian forces struck critical infrastructure facilities in Dnipro and the Kryvyi Rih district overnight into Tuesday, November 3, according to Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha, who said casualty information is being clarified. Monitoring Telegram channels earlier reported strikes on the Kryvyi Rih and Prydniprovska thermal power plants. This follows an October 31 attack on energy facilities in the region that damaged DTEK Dnipro grids, leaving parts of Dnipro, Kamianske, and surrounding districts without power. The latest strikes come after Russian forces attacked Dnipro and the region on October 30, including a repeated hit on the city's railway station. Mayor Borys Filatov reported a blackout, with water supply running on generators and electric transport halted.
