Russian strikes kill 38 in Ukraine, hitting aid centre, hospice and hospital
Russian strikes on Ukrainian civilian sites, including an aid centre, hospice and hospital, killed at least 38 people in 24 hours. President Volodymyr Zelensky warned dozens more could be trapped under rubble. A glide bomb attack on Komyshuvakha village killed 33 people, with over 50 potentially trapped. Strikes also hit a hospice in Dnipro and a hospital in Kharkiv, wounding 73. Russia claimed it targeted military units, but the UN said the attack violated international humanitarian law. The attacks damaged energy infrastructure in nine regions, cutting water in Kyiv and suspending the metro. Russia agreed to US-brokered peace talks in Abu Dhabi on 10-11 November, while Zelensky said he saw no indication of serious Russian engagement.
