Drone attack ignites fire at one of Russia's five largest oil refineries

unian.ua (Ukrainian) —

A drone attack on the Yaroslavl oil refinery, one of Russia's largest, caused a fire on the night of November 3. The plant supplies fuel to the Russian military and the military-industrial complex. The attack targeted the Slavneft-YANOS refinery, with at least three fire sources reported. The facility processes about 15 million tons of oil annually, producing gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel for central and northwestern Russia. The refinery has been hit by Ukrainian drones multiple times this year, including a September 17 attack that halted processing. A previous drone strike occurred on August 6.
