Russian strike knocks out power in Zhytomyr

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in the Zhytomyr region, causing a complete blackout in the regional center on November 3. City authorities stated that if power is not restored by morning, "invincibility points" will be set up. The Zhytomyr City Council confirmed the enemy attack on energy infrastructure. If electricity remains unavailable by morning, these support centers will open at 9:00 AM on November 4. Journalists reported that some districts of the region also lost power. The attack follows Russian strikes that have created a critical situation in Ukraine's energy system. In Kyiv, tram and trolleybus service was temporarily suspended on the evening of November 3 due to the same circumstances.
