Drone strike hits major Russian refinery in Yaroslavl region

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

A drone attack on the Slavneft-YANOS refinery, one of Russia's five largest, caused a fire in the Yaroslavl region on the night before November 3. Local authorities had declared a drone danger before the strike. Witnesses reported at least three fire sources at the plant, with Russian radars detecting up to 150 drones. OSINT analysis by independent outlet ASTRA confirmed the fire location based on photos and videos. The refinery, operating since 1961, processes about 15 million tons of oil annually and supplies fuel to central and northwestern Russia, including airports and military-industrial facilities. It is jointly controlled by Rosneft and Gazprom Neft.
