Trump envoy confirms Russia and Ukraine to negotiate in Abu Dhabi

US envoy Steve Witkoff announced Monday that Russia and Ukraine will hold US-mediated negotiations on November 10-11 in Abu Dhabi, according to reports. The talks will cover post-war security arrangements, de-escalation, humanitarian efforts, and next steps toward peace, Witkoff said. The last trilateral meeting in Geneva in mid-February failed to resolve the conflict. US negotiators will also visit Brussels this week to consult France, Germany, the UK, the EU, and NATO on security guarantees for Ukraine. The announcement follows Russian strikes on a school in Ukraine that killed at least 26 people.
