Binance clients withdraw $3.64 billion in nine hours after hack

Binance clients withdrew approximately $3.64 billion within nine and a half hours after withdrawals resumed following a hacker attack, the platform reported on X. Withdrawals became available around 06:00 Moscow time. By 15:30, Binance recorded $4.65 billion in withdrawals and $1.01 billion in deposits, representing 2.1% of its $171 billion in managed assets. The attack occurred on the night of October 30, with hackers stealing about $6.3 billion in cryptocurrency. Binance reserved the same amount for compensation and had reimbursed clients 90% of stolen funds by October 31.
