Ukraine hands US its proposals ahead of Abu Dhabi talks

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed preparations for trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi with leaders of eight Nordic and Baltic countries, stating Ukraine has submitted its proposals for concrete outcomes to the US side. Zelensky emphasized the meeting in the UAE must be productive, not formal, with proposals on potential results already handed to American representatives. Preparations included a Brussels meeting with NATO and European partners, plus negotiations with US presidential representatives. The leaders agreed European nations must directly participate in security discussions. Zelensky also highlighted Ukraine's winter needs, particularly energy system support and air defense reinforcement. The Ukrainian delegation will be led by presidential office head Kyrylo Budanov on November 10-11.
