Ukrainian Drones Strike Refineries in Perm and Novoshakhtinsk, Defense Plant in Ulyanovsk

Ukrainian drones attacked oil refineries in Perm and Novoshakhtinsk, as well as the defense plant Iskra in Ulyanovsk overnight. Russia's Defense Ministry reported intercepting 592 drones during the night. The strike on the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez refinery, one of Russia's largest with over 13 million tons annual capacity, caused a fire. In Ulyanovsk, the Iskra plant, which produces microelectronics for missiles, was hit, injuring eight people including a child. The Novoshakhtinsk refinery in Rostov Oblast also halted operations after sustaining damage. The attacks also targeted Voronezh Oblast, where a warehouse and a synthetic rubber plant were hit, with four injuries reported. In Belgorod Oblast, a civilian was killed by a drone strike on a truck. These strikes follow a pattern of recent Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian industrial and military infrastructure.
