Russian drones strike Ukraine overnight, Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia hit

Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight with 295 Shahed drones, including 52 jet-powered ones, plus other drone types, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. Air defense neutralized 267 drones by 07:30, with strikes recorded at 16 locations and debris falls at four. The attack continued into the morning of September 25. Kyiv and the region were hit again, causing fires in two city districts and three regional areas, with one person injured in the capital. Zaporizhzhia also came under attack, damaging a hospital and injuring one person. The drone barrage included Gerbera drones, Banderol/Dan-T munitions, and Parody imitators, according to the Air Force. The overnight assault marks another large-scale aerial campaign by Russian forces against Ukrainian territory.
