Israeli teen killed in Russian strike on Kyiv

A 14-year-old Israeli citizen was killed in a Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of September 25, and 20 other people, including his mother, were injured. Israel's Foreign Ministry condemned the attack and expressed condolences. The Israeli Foreign Ministry stated it offers sympathy to the victim's family and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. Israel's embassy in Kyiv and its situation center are in contact with the family to provide assistance. The teenager's family had immigrated to Israel but returned to Ukraine about 20 years ago. The attack involved strikes on the Pechersk district, where the child died in a hit on an apartment building, and on a non-residential building in the Shevchenkivsky district. The building of the High Council of Justice was also damaged, temporarily suspending its work.
