Drone strike may hit Voronezh rubber plant, OSINT shows

A drone attack on Voronezh, Russia, on the night of Friday, September 25, may have struck the Voronezhsyntezkauchuk plant, according to OSINT analysis cited by the Astra Telegram channel. The facility, which produces synthetic rubbers and thermoelastoplasts, is located near a thermal power station and within two kilometers of a Pantsir air defense system and a likely S-300/S-400 position. Governor Alexander Gusev claimed Russian air defense destroyed 88 drones over the city and six districts. The plant has been fully owned by Russian company Sibur since 2012. The same night, drones reportedly hit the Iskra plant in Ulyanovsk, a military components maker, and caused a large fire at the Lukoil refinery in Perm.
