Russian drone strike hits kindergarten in Kyiv

Russian forces struck a kindergarten in Kyiv with a drone on Friday, September 25, according to Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. The device hit a two-story building in the Obolonsky district, causing a fire, with emergency services dispatched to the scene. The attack occurred as Russian troops continued drone strikes on Kyiv following an overnight assault. In the Pechersky district, a strike on an apartment building killed a 14-year-old child, while the Shevchenkovsky district reported damage to a non-residential structure. The attack also damaged the building of the High Council of Justice, temporarily suspending its work, and hit office buildings in the Solomyansky district, where six people died. In total, 59 people were reported injured in the capital.
