Ukrainian air defenses intercept 267 of 295 Russian drones in overnight attack

On the night of September 25, Russia launched 295 attack drones against Ukraine, with Ukrainian air defenses destroying or suppressing 267 of them, though some impacts were recorded. The attack involved Shahed drones, including 52 jet-powered models, as well as "Gerbera," "Banderol"/"Dan-T" drones and "Parody" decoys, launched from multiple directions including Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Shatalovo, with some launched from occupied Donetsk Oblast and Crimea. Ukrainian aviation, missile units, electronic warfare systems, drone units and mobile fire groups were deployed in the response, with debris falling at four locations. In Kyiv, a drone struck a 25-story residential building in the Solomensky district at the fourth-floor level. Several enemy drones remained in the air as of the morning report.
