Russian drone strike on Kyiv residential tower injures several, sparks fires

A Russian drone strike on Kyiv early Friday, September 25, hit a 25-story residential building in the Solomensky district, causing fires and injuries, according to Mayor Vitaliy Klipko. The drone struck at the fourth-floor level. In the same district, a drone fell on a non-residential building, with a fire breaking out in an open area nearby. Another drone hit a non-residential building in the Podilsky district. Emergency services were dispatched to the scenes. The attack follows a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv on the night of September 24, which killed one person and damaged cars and a maternity hospital. On September 23, drones also targeted fuel stations and a business center.
