Seven dead in Russia-Ukraine drone strikes, including Kyiv teen

At least seven people were killed, including a 14-year-old boy, in reciprocal drone strikes between Russia and Ukraine, officials from both countries reported. The boy died when a Russian drone struck a residential building in central Kyiv, injuring at least seven others. Ukrainian officials also confirmed one death in the Odesa region. In Russia, two people were killed in Ukrainian strikes on an oil refinery and a passenger train, with additional injuries reported in the Ulyanovsk and Voronezh regions. Russia's defence ministry said it targeted Ukrainian defence industry facilities, while Moscow-installed officials in occupied Zaporizhzhia blamed a Ukrainian strike for killing three aid volunteers. Russia denied deliberately targeting civilians, and Reuters could not independently verify the reports.
