Russian strike damages Data Group's Kyiv data center; client data preserved

24tv.ua (Russian) —

A Russian attack damaged Data Group's Kyiv data center, but the company preserved all client data and switched operations to backup sites. Employees were unharmed. The company had pre-built redundant infrastructure, allowing instant traffic rerouting and uninterrupted service functionality. Specialists are now assessing damage and restoring systems, according to an official statement cited by 24 Kanal. The strike is part of broader Russian attacks on Ukrainian telecoms, which recently damaged other providers' data centers, temporarily cutting internet for 100,000 households. While some operators recovered, MiroHost's data center was destroyed.
