Russia is striking data centers in Kyiv, but the founder of MiroHost says these attacks cannot paralyze Ukraine's internet. Oleksandr Olshanskyi stated that most critical data and systems are hosted abroad or in the cloud, so a full blackout is impossible. Olshanskyi, who lost his own data center in the strikes, said the attacks aim to cause panic and nervousness among the population. He dismissed rumors of a complete internet shutdown or sharp price increases, noting that destroying the entire network would require nuclear or chemical weapons or destroying 70-80% of Kyiv's buildings. Recent Russian attacks have damaged multiple Ukrainian providers, including UTELS, Pavutyna, Crazy Network, CityHost.UA, MiroHost, Etherlink, KIEVNET, Domonet, and FAUST, causing connectivity issues in several regions.
