Ukraine negotiates new US meeting, Zelensky says
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine is negotiating a new meeting with the US side, expecting an agreement within the coming days at some level. Speaking at a press conference in Brussels, Zelensky said his team is in constant contact with the American negotiating team. He also noted that Ukrainian negotiators will coordinate with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, special representatives of US President Donald Trump. Zelensky expressed gratitude for European support and criticized the US diesel agreement with Russia, saying Ukraine was not informed about it. He reiterated his proposal for an energy ceasefire and requested anti-ballistic missiles to protect critical infrastructure, which he said he did not receive.
