interfax.ru (Russian) —

The Kremlin expects humanitarian aid to be delivered safely and unhindered to the city of Alyoshky on Thursday or Friday, with all willing residents able to leave, according to presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Peskov stated that a plane carrying aid has already departed from Moscow, though the delivery route will be complex. He noted that demining operations are underway in the area, and expressed hope that residents will soon receive assistance and be able to evacuate. Peskov also said such humanitarian missions are important for coordination based on humanitarian considerations, praising American peacekeeping efforts. Russia's Defense Ministry announced a ceasefire and silence regime on the Kherson direction starting October 27 to prepare for the operation.
