Humanitarian aid to reach occupied Oleshky on October 30
A humanitarian aid shipment is planned for delivery to occupied Oleshky, Kherson region, on October 30, with demining of delivery routes currently underway. Ukraine's Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets announced the operation, reporting successful progress in demining and preparation of the cargo. Lubinets stated that no ceasefire violations were recorded during the 54 hours of the silence regime in Kherson region, attributing compliance to constant communication with Russian human rights commissioner Yana Lantratova. He also thanked U.S. First Lady Melania Trump for her personal attention to the humanitarian mission. The ceasefire regime began October 27 at 3:00 a.m. Kyiv time and runs until November 1 at 10:59 p.m., covering the entire Kherson region and transit areas. The operation aims to deliver aid and enable safe civilian evacuation from Oleshky, which faces a humanitarian catastrophe.
