Russian drone strike kills 14 at Dnipro rail station; more deaths in Chernihiv, Kremenchuk
A Russian drone strike killed at least 14 people on a crowded rail platform in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro on Thursday, with five more deaths reported in strikes on other cities, officials said. Two teenagers were killed in Chernihiv and three people died in an apartment building strike in Kremenchuk. Ukrainian Prime Minister Sergiy Koretskyi accused Russia of deliberately hunting civilians, while Moscow denied targeting non-combatants. The attacks occurred as a six-day US-brokered humanitarian truce remained limited to the Kherson region. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy urged partners to increase pressure on Russia, citing recent sanctions relief on Russian energy and oligarchs.
