Iran warns US of unlimited retaliation if attacked

Iran's central command has warned that any US attack would be met with retaliation "without any limitations or considerations," state media reported, following indications that Washington and its regional allies were preparing to resume actions against Tehran. Iran also cautioned that regional countries supporting the US against it would be considered parties to the conflict. The warning follows Tehran conveying seven truce conditions to the US through Qatari mediators, including threats to close the Strait of Hormuz and wage a "decisive war" if its demands are rejected. Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran must pursue both military action and negotiations, stating the "path of deception and unilateral imposition is closed." Pakistan's interior minister visited Tehran, though Iran's foreign ministry said there were no signs of a US message being conveyed through him.
