Bessent calls China AI and trade talks 'very successful'

A working group will continue discussions on Monday, with top Chinese trade negotiator Li Chenggang noting the talks were held in a good atmosphere. The proposed dialogue includes a notification mechanism between the two countries, according to Bessent. Trump is scheduled to host Xi at the White House later this week for the Chinese leader's first state visit to Washington in over a decade.
