Iran warns US of new weapons and wider targets if Trump resumes military action

Iran has warned that renewed US military action could trigger a major shift in its response, including new weapons and attacks on American facilities across the region. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued the warning amid claims Washington may resume operations against Tehran. IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said Sunday that Iran would change its defensive and counteroffensive strategy if attacked, bringing "new weapons with new capabilities" and expanding its target list. The warning followed a statement from Iran's armed forces alleging US preparations for renewed attacks, though no intelligence details were provided.
