Iran sends conditions to US for reopening Strait of Hormuz

Iran conveyed its conditions to the US through mediators for ending its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran's top negotiator, who warned the strait will remain closed until demands are met. Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Tehran's conditions were clearly communicated, citing the need for an end to the war, release of frozen funds, and lifting of the naval blockade. Security chief Mohsen Rezaei warned of stronger and more painful strikes if the US acts again. Iran claimed it has upgraded hypersonic missiles to Mach 10 and improved air defenses, threatening US bases and commercial interests in the region. The military command warned of continuous attacks on US assets if Washington makes a mistake.
