Xi Jinping to visit US Sept 23-25 at Trump's invitation

The visit includes a Trump-Xi summit in Washington scheduled for September 24, marking their second meeting this year. Trump said the leaders have a good relationship and indicated several agreements could be reached during the visit. Xi's trip will be his first to the White House in a decade, following Trump's Beijing visit in May. The meeting occurs amid tensions over trade, Taiwan, Iran, and artificial intelligence, with China's economy projected to record a $1 trillion trade surplus for a second consecutive year.
