Bolsonaro family lands in Miami after Argentina-Ecuador flight, Milei under scrutiny
Flavio Bolsonaro landed in Miami on a private jet with his family after leaving Brazil following the presidential runoff, with Washington ready to grant entry visas to the Brazilian senator and his relatives. The Baires Fly Gulfstream departed from Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, made a technical stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and was tracked by AFP journalists before touching down in Florida. The transit has sparked political conflict in Buenos Aires, where opposition parties accuse President Javier Milei's administration of facilitating the departure of a figure sought by Brazilian authorities. Baires Fly is under investigation by prosecutor Franco Picardi for alleged money laundering tied to pharmaceutical contracts at the National Disability Agency, whose former head was Milei's personal lawyer. The company's aircraft were previously seized by court order, and one was used by Milei in 2023 for his first US trip.
