Flávio Bolsonaro arrives in Miami with family after fleeing Brazil
Brazilian Senator Flávio Bolsonaro has landed in Miami, Florida, with his family after fleeing Brazil via Argentina and Ecuador, according to the France Presse news agency. He plans to hold a press conference, possibly as soon as tomorrow, to explain his departure. Bolsonaro, who lost the presidential runoff to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on October 25, traveled on a private jet from Puerto Iguazú with a stopover in Guayaquil. Argentine migration authorities confirmed the family entered legally with valid documents and faced no legal impediments. The jet used belongs to Baires Fly, a company linked to a corruption scandal in Argentina involving alleged money laundering tied to government contracts. Argentine opposition lawmakers have demanded explanations from President Javier Milei's government regarding Bolsonaro's transit.
