Bolsonaro flies from Argentina to Ecuador after Brazil election defeat
Brazilian presidential election loser Flavio Bolsonaro flew from Argentina to Ecuador on a private plane after entering the country with his family, Argentina's migration agency reported Wednesday. Bolsonaro, his wife Fernanda, and daughters Carolina and Luisa crossed the border from Brazil at the Tancredo Neves checkpoint on October 27 with valid documents and no legal obstacles. They departed from Puerto Iguazu to Guayaquil on a Baires Fly S.A. flight. Brazilian courts had banned Bolsonaro from leaving the country amid corruption and money laundering investigations. US President Donald Trump said he would support Bolsonaro's entry into the US, while Brazil's president-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva called his departure "shameful."
