Flávio Bolsonaro lands in Florida on private jet after US visa approval
Flávio Bolsonaro, son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, arrived in Florida on Wednesday aboard a private plane after a journey through Argentina and Ecuador, having received a US visa from the Trump administration. The 45-year-old senator, who lost the Brazilian presidential election, landed at Opa-Locka Executive Airport with his family. He is under investigation by Brazil's Supreme Court for alleged corruption, money laundering, and tax evasion, and had been ordered to surrender his passports by Tuesday. Brazilian media report he failed to surrender the passports, which were later annulled, though allies claim he also holds an Italian passport. Argentine migration authorities confirmed the family entered via the Tancredo Neves border bridge before boarding a charter flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador, then onward to Miami.
