Bolsonaro Family Crosses Border, Flies to Ecuador on Private Jet
Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro and three family members crossed into Argentina on Tuesday night and boarded a private flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador, according to Argentina's National Directorate of Migration. The group entered through the Tancredo Neves International Bridge in Misiones province at 10:50 p.m. with valid documentation and no legal impediments. The flight, operated by Baires Fly S.A., departed 40 minutes later from Cataratas del Iguazú Airport. This comes after Brazil's Federal Police warned of "concrete and current" flight risks, and Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered Flávio's passport seizure after he failed to surrender it by Tuesday morning. Flávio, who lost Brazil's presidential election on Sunday, had denied plans to leave the country. US President Donald Trump said Wednesday he approves of Flávio coming to the United States, and the State Department will grant visas to him and his family.
