Flávio Bolsonaro's convoy leaves Brasília before his U.S. departure
A convoy of four black cars left Senator Flávio Bolsonaro's residence in Brasília on Monday evening, one day before he departed Brazil for the United States. The vehicles took different routes, and it remains unconfirmed whether the senator or his family were inside. The cars departed the Lago Sul home starting at 7:42 p.m., with journalists unable to track them as they split near the JK Bridge. The movement followed Flávio's election loss to President Lula and came after Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered his passports retained amid a money laundering investigation. Flávio left for the U.S. on Tuesday, where he and his family will receive visas from the Trump administration. He reportedly crossed into Argentina before boarding a private flight, and his passports were cancelled after he failed to surrender them to federal police.
