Russian drone strike in Kyiv kills four, wounds seven

A Russian drone strike in Kyiv killed four people and injured seven others on Friday, according to Ukrainian officials. The attack damaged an office building and marks an escalation in daytime Russian strikes. The drone hit the parking lot of an office building in the capital, breaking windows and damaging the facade, said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack, noting Russian forces also struck a McDonald's warehouse. Zelensky said Russia is expanding its escalation to target American businesses, data centers, and internet providers, undermining daily life. Russia has recently shifted from nighttime to daytime long-range attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.
