Flávio Bolsonaro used Italian passport to enter Argentina after Supreme Court ban
Brazilian Senator Flávio Bolsonaro entered Argentina using an Italian passport on Tuesday night, after Brazil's Supreme Court barred him from leaving the country, according to Argentine migration records obtained by Estadão. The senator, who lost the presidential election, crossed the land border with his wife and two daughters, then departed from Puerto Iguazú airport at 11:52 PM on a Gulfstream G400 jet bound for Miami, with a stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The travel ban was ordered by Justice Alexandre de Moraes amid a money laundering investigation, citing concrete flight risk. Bolsonaro had been ordered to surrender his passports on Monday but failed to do so before his Brazilian documents were canceled.
