Iran warns US of new weapons and targets in any fresh escalation

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned Monday that any new escalation with the United States could involve deploying new weapons, adopting fresh tactics, and striking previously untouched targets. IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said Iran is prepared for a prolonged conflict and promised "significant changes" in its operations, including a shift in the "geography of war" and new military capabilities that would astonish the world. He stated Iran's targets would no longer be the same as in earlier phases of the conflict. Mohebbi also claimed the US and its allies failed to achieve their objectives, specifically citing the inability to reopen the Strait of Hormuz despite deploying its navy. The remarks follow US-Israel attacks on Iran on February 28 and Iran's subsequent retaliatory operations.
