White House aide arranged Flávio Bolsonaro's jet to Miami, NYT reports
The New York Times reported Thursday that a White House official helped arrange the private jet used by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro to flee Brazil for Miami after his electoral defeat. The flight followed a Supreme Court order for him to surrender his passport. Jason Miller, a communications aide to President Donald Trump, allegedly provided the aircraft after Eduardo Bolsonaro contacted him. Flávio departed Tuesday night from Argentina, stopping in Ecuador before reaching Florida. A US government source said Flávio is expected to seek a green card with expedited processing, similar to his brother Eduardo. Trump also renewed criticism of Brazil's election, calling it shameful, though he said he plans to congratulate Lula.
