Valdemar and Michelle meet to discuss PL's future as Flávio leaves Brazil
Valdemar Costa Neto met with Michelle Bolsonaro on Tuesday to discuss the PL party's future, the same day Flávio Bolsonaro left Brazil for the United States after federal police canceled his passports. The PL president posted a photo with Michelle, saying they talked about the party's challenges and remained united. The meeting occurred at PL headquarters in Brasília, where Valdemar also convened party lawmakers, including Senator Rogério Marinho, who coordinated Flávio's presidential campaign. Flávio arrived in the U.S. Tuesday afternoon, according to an ally, after Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes ordered him to surrender both passports Monday. He missed the deadline, prompting the cancellations. Marinho said Flávio wanted "some time away."
