Milan judge warns of new riots, validates arrests after weekend violence
A Milan judge has validated arrests following weekend riots, warning of a "very high" risk of recurrence and alleging a precise plan to destabilize public order. Five adults face charges including devastation and looting. Judge Fabrizio Filice ordered four adults to remain in prison and one under house arrest with electronic monitoring. Measures were also issued for 11 minors aged 14-16. Filice cited social media accounts promoting permanent, violent mobilization and described "indiscriminate and uncontrolled violence" detached from the original cost-of-living protest. Suspects cited economic hardship and social media videos as motivations. Of 35 minors arrested, 25 are Italian. Interrogations continue for six others.
