Macron: No Foreign Interference in French Riots
French President Emmanuel Macron said there is no evidence of foreign interference in the massive riots during social protests in France, but he accused foreign politicians of spreading false information and manipulated images about the events. Speaking in Doha, Qatar, Macron said artificial intelligence-generated images depicted scenes that never occurred in France, and dismissed claims that the country was overrun by migrant and Islamist hordes as completely false. He criticized politicians campaigning at France's expense, apparently referring to US Vice President JD Vance and President Donald Trump, who blamed immigration for the unrest. Macron added that reactions to the riots reveal who truly loves France, saying those who speak badly about the country do not love it and annoy him.
