Production at Moscow's largest oil refinery has halted following a Ukrainian drone attack on Sunday, according to industry sources. The facility, owned by Gazprom Neft, suffered fires in its main crude distillation units. The attack damaged both primary crude distillation units, which will require several weeks to repair and restore operations. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed damage to an industrial unit at the refinery during the drone strike on the Russian capital. The refinery processed 11.6 million tons of crude oil in 2024, producing gasoline, diesel, and bitumen. Its fuels have been unavailable on the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange since September 21.
