Moscow's largest oil refinery, owned by Gazprom, suspended crude oil processing after a Ukrainian drone attack on September 20, according to Reuters. Both primary crude distillation units at the plant caught fire after drones struck the facility, sources said Monday. Repairing the damage and resuming operations could take several weeks. The AVT-6 unit processes 21,400 metric tons daily, 53% of capacity, while EURO+ handles 18,800 tons, 47%. In 2024, the plant processed 11.6 million tons, producing gasoline, diesel, and bitumen.
