Russian strikes kill three in Ukraine, hit oil refinery

At least three people were killed in southeastern Ukraine during a major Russian aerial attack, according to local authorities. The strikes targeted industrial sites in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad, also wounding six others. Russia's Defense Ministry described a massive land, air, and sea assault on Ukraine's chemical and metal industries, also claiming ships were hit. Additional attacks damaged power infrastructure in Chernihiv, leaving nearly 100,000 people without electricity, and wounded three in Kyiv. Ukraine also struck Russia overnight, with officials in Samara reporting dozens of drones shot down, one death, and four wounded. Ukrainian media reported a large oil refinery was hit, with resident footage showing thick black smoke.
